1. Wooden flooring cannot be laid immediately after purchase. It should be unpacked and placed in the new house for some time before laying so that the wooden floor can adapt to the new environment.
2. Don't think that wooden flooring cannot contain water. In fact, without water, wooden flooring becomes very hard, and the feeling underfoot is different, so the moisture content of wooden flooring should be kept at about 14%. Of course, this is checked with professional tools.
3. A certain gap should be left between the wooden grille and the ground base (primary school textbooks taught us how to leave a gap) to ensure that the air inside the entire ground dragon is unobstructed. Do not use cement mortar to fix the wooden grille. The wooden grille should be firmly fixed to the ground with nails using the method of padding wooden wedges.
4. Before laying wooden flooring, the wooden grille should be cleaned and sprinkled with moisture-proof powder and insect-proof powder. This is to prevent insects from eroding the material of the wooden floor and destroying the structure of the wooden floor.
5. The nails for nailing wooden flooring must be twisted nails. First, drill holes obliquely at the tongue and groove (the holes should be perpendicular to the length of the floor strips), and then nail them into the wooden grille. Otherwise, it is easy to cause the wooden floor to loosen during use.
6. After the wooden floor is laid, it should be covered with cardboard, old sheets or old mats for protection. The purpose of this is to protect the initial installation structure of the wooden floor and strengthen its structure.
