Solid wood flooring is loved by consumers for its comfort and beauty and has become a popular product for home floor decoration. However, solid wood flooring is prone to corrosion, moisture, cracking and insect infestation. It is not the end of the matter after paving. The floor must be maintained regularly.
1. Waterproof
Keep the floor dry and clean. Mopping the floor with a mop or soap solution that does not require water will cause direct damage to the car paint and board (moisture absorption, mildew, dull gloss, etc.). If you need to mop the floor with a wet mop, try to dry the mop to 70% to prevent moisture from seeping into the floor and causing moisture and mildew. If you accidentally sprinkle water on the solid wood floor, be sure to wipe it clean with a soft towel and keep it dry to avoid causing the wood floor to expand, crack and crack and mold
2. Moisture-proof
In rainy weather with high humidity, it is good to turn on the dehumidifier and air conditioner dehumidification function to control the relative humidity of the air. For wet floors, especially on the 1st floor and underground, the base floor must be waterproofed before laying wooden floors. When laying, it is good to brush waterproof materials in advance.
3. Sun protection
Prevent obvious long-term sunlight from shining on the floor, and prevent the paint from aging and cracking under ultraviolet rays for a long time. In dry and manic seasons, it is good to increase the humidity of the environment. An effective way is to put a basin of water in the corner, or use an air humidifier to keep the air moist so that the wooden floor cannot be too dry and cracked when breathing. It is more appropriate to keep the relative humidity between 40% and 70%.
4. Fire prevention
Do not throw unextinguished cigarette butts, matchsticks, and other flaming objects on the solid wood floor at will. Do not wipe the dust and stains on the floor with gasoline to prevent static electricity and fire after friction.
5. Anti-fouling
Corrosive liquids, strongly acidic and alkaline substances, such as toilet cleaners and kitchen degreasers, cannot be used to clean the floor; it is strictly forbidden to install high-temperature liquids or objects on the surface of the wooden floor to avoid damaging the surface. If it is a water-soluble substance, for general stains left behind, you can wipe off the dust 1st and scrub it with a soft towel dipped in strong tea. For detergents whose physical properties are not understood, they cannot be used at will to avoid unnecessary chemical changes and floor damage.
